- Is Internet Referee free?
The download version is free for you to use for as long as you like. If you want to take advantage of Internet Referee’s advanced features, we invite you to purchase IR-Professional.
- How can I learn about keeping my child safe on the Internet?
Check out our helpful resources section.
- How do I install Internet Referee?
Simply go to the download section and click on the download button. The downloader will start running. Then just follow the prompts.
- How do I remove an installed version of Internet Referee?
Go to the “add/remove programs” section of the control panel. (You get to the control panel by right-clicking the ‘start’ menu.) From the “add/remove” program, select Internet Referee. Click “remove.”
- How do I know Internet Referee is running?
Look at your system tray and see if a ‘whistle’ icon is present. Click on it. An Internet Referee main screen will appear.
- I installed Internet Referee but there’s no whistle?
Look on your desktop or start menu for an icon that looks like a referee. Click on it.
- Does Internet Referee send any information out onto the Internet?
No. It does not send any reported applications out to the Internet. If you have the email feature enabled, Internet Referee will send a notification of an event via email, to the address you have provided. This is a great way for you to keep on eye on things!
- What is Kagi?
Kagi is our third-party reseller who processes the handling of purchasing and licensing our IR-Professional version.
- How can I find more information on how to use Internet Referee?
Click the HELPME button on the main screen, or go to the Support section of the Message Board. The manual is posted there.
